Membership in Catholic Women’s League can be achieved at many levels as can your involvement
We have about 2000 branch members of CWLA, meetings are generally held monthly , some groups meeting in the AM, PM or Evenings.
Members work together for the benefit of local parish, local area, diocese, local schools, local charities and looking outwards at the issues and needs of the world in general.
Catholic Women can join as a Diocesan member, instead of local branch if preferred, often women working in various cities, find it more convenient to attend a Diocesan meeting.
It is also possible to be a prayer member or a mailout member. These women are not able to attend meetings but want to be aware of the issues, to support in prayer or just to attend social functions.
We are now starting an Internet on line membership, if you are interested in becoming a member, but have limited time, if you are only able to be involved on the Internet, no meetings. You will be able to read the updates and write comments.To be kept informed about social and moral issues that we are concerned about.
Cost of membership has been kept to a minimum so that all can afford to belong. $25 Annual.
It is our desire that every Catholic Woman in New South Wales will join one of the above memberships.
We recognise the power of women in society. As wife and mother of the family leading little ones to Jesus and a place in the church that you have chosen for your family. As women we support each other in friendship, assistance and caring.
